About us
iban24 began with a simple belief: online tools should help rather than annoy.
The site is operated by Thorsten Krüger. He built iban24 together with his best friend Artur, and the original idea grew out of conversations with Hamid and a familiar everyday observation.
We regularly use small online tools ourselves: to convert a file, turn an image into a PDF or solve a problem that is too small to justify installing new software but large enough to interrupt the day.
Too often, a search for a simple utility leads to a page buried under pop-ups, banners and unnecessary obstacles. We understand that websites need to be sustainable—servers cost money, development takes time and good work should be worthwhile.
But we believe that a useful service does not need to be irritating.
iban24 is our attempt to make things a little clearer, more direct and more pleasant for people who simply want to complete a task. The people behind this site enjoy building, testing, discarding and improving ideas until they become genuinely useful.
If someone finds what they need here quickly and leaves without frustration, we have achieved a great deal of what we set out to do.
